Sylvaine's artistic capabilities are way too advanced. Even on her debut album, she wove and arranged an immersive experience, engulfing the listener completely for almost an hour. I listened to this two times in a row already and I cannot stop. While this is a beautiful album (which is relatively soft, compared to her other albums), it is also impressive how much her songwriting skills and voice have improved since. Wondrous, melancholic fragility to kneel down to. For quieter moments.

Sur Greyness of a Young Despondency, on sent encore que Damián Antón Ojeda est sur un début de carrière par le côté résolument franc de son black metal dépressif. Ce n'est pas tant la subtilité (et encore que : quand on écoute "Untitled III", il y a de quoi nuancer le propos...) qui est importante que l'authenticité de ce désespoir qui nous est craché à la gueule, encore plus sur "...And Hurting Colors" dont le but est de nous détruire émotionnellement. Un album aussi puissant que douloureux.
